I have over ten years’ experience as a freelance graphic designer working primarily with nonprofit organizations and small businesses. A recovering poet and lifelong learner, I earned a BA in Arts & Ideas and a BA in Creative Writing from the University of Michigan, along with an AA in Multimedia Studies at the College of Marin. I’m currently studying photojournalism.
I bring a strong understanding of the nonprofit, small business and arts worlds to my design projects. Prior to starting a graphic design career, I was employed in publishing, nonprofits, and internet companies, including the NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt, Autoweb.com and Spinsters Ink.
I grew up in Michigan and am a long-time resident of the San Francisco Bay Area. I currently live in Oakland with my dog Flynn.
